Overview
MarketHubb (“MarketHubb”, “we”, “us”) is a digital marketing agency based in the United States. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers two things:
- Our website, markethubb.com, including the contact form.
- MarketHubb SEO AI, the internal application our team uses to manage the Google Ads and search campaigns of MarketHubb clients. Part 2 of this policy describes in detail how that application accesses, uses, stores, and shares Google user data.
If you are a MarketHubb client, this policy works alongside your service agreement with us. If anything here conflicts with that agreement, the agreement controls.
Part 1 — Our website
Information you give us
When you use the contact form we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, and optionally your company or website, the services you are interested in, and a message. We use this information to respond to your inquiry and, if you become a client, to set up and deliver our services. We do not add you to marketing lists without your consent.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting servers record standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and the time of the request. We use these logs for security, troubleshooting, and to keep the site running. They are retained for a limited period and then deleted.
- Spam protection. The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which analyzes signals from your browser to tell people apart from bots. Cloudflare processes this data on our behalf under its own privacy policy. Turnstile does not show you a puzzle to solve and does not track you across other sites.
- Fonts. The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those files, Google receives your IP address as part of the request. See Google's privacy policy.
We do not currently run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on markethubb.com, and we do not sell website visitor information to anyone.
Part 2 — MarketHubb SEO AI and Google user data
MarketHubb SEO AI (“SEO AI”, “the app”) is an internal tool. Only MarketHubb team members sign in to it; there is no public sign-up. It exists so that our team can analyze, report on, and optimize the Google Ads campaigns we already manage for our clients. This part of the policy is written to meet the disclosure requirements of the Google API Services User Data Policy.
How the app gets access
A MarketHubb team member signs in to SEO AI with their MarketHubb Google account and authorizes the app through Google's OAuth consent screen. The app then acts with that team member's existing Google Ads permissions: it can only see and manage the Google Ads accounts that Google account has already been granted access to, normally through MarketHubb's Google Ads manager account that our clients link to. Clients never share passwords with us, and the app never sees or stores Google account passwords.
Which Google data the app accesses
SEO AI requests the Google Ads API scope (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords), which allows it to view and manage Google Ads accounts on behalf of the signed-in user, together with basic sign-in information (the signed-in team member's Google account email address and name). Through the Google Ads API the app accesses:
- The list of Google Ads accounts the signed-in user can manage, and each account's campaigns, ad groups, keywords, ads, assets, and audiences.
- Campaign settings such as budgets, bids and bidding strategies, targeting, ad copy, and Google's own recommendations for the account.
- Performance reports: impressions, clicks, cost, conversions, and search-term data.
- Keyword research data from Google's planning tools, such as keyword ideas and search-volume estimates.
The app does not access Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, Contacts, Photos, or any other Google service; it does not view or change payment methods or billing profiles; and it cannot reach accounts the signed-in user has not been granted access to in Google Ads.
How we use Google user data
We use the data obtained through the Google Ads API only to provide our marketing services to the client whose account it came from. Specifically, to:
- Produce performance reports and summaries for that client and for the MarketHubb specialists who manage the account.
- Generate optimization suggestions — for example negative keywords, bid or budget changes, and ad-copy improvements — which a MarketHubb specialist reviews before anything is changed.
- Apply changes to the client's campaigns that a MarketHubb specialist has approved, in the same way we would otherwise make them by hand in the Google Ads interface.
- Research keywords and search demand to inform that client's paid and organic search strategy.
We do not use Google user data to serve advertisements, to build profiles of individuals, to determine credit-worthiness or for lending purposes, or for any purpose unrelated to managing the client's account. We do not combine one client's Google Ads data with another client's, and we do not sell Google user data to anyone.
Limited Use disclosure. MarketHubb SEO AI's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Use of AI
SEO AI uses large language models to analyze campaign data and draft recommendations. To do this, selected campaign data for a client — such as performance metrics, keyword lists, search terms, and ad copy — may be sent to third-party AI model providers — currently Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI (Codex) — for processing. We access these providers' services under terms, or with data-control settings, that do not permit our data to be used to train or improve their models. The data is sent only to produce analysis or recommendations for the client it belongs to.
MarketHubb does not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. Every AI-generated recommendation is reviewed by a MarketHubb specialist before any change is made to a client's account; the app does not make autonomous changes.
How we store and protect Google user data
- Where. Data retrieved from the Google Ads API is stored on servers controlled by MarketHubb, located in the United States.
- Security. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Access to the app and its data is restricted to MarketHubb team members who need it to serve the client, protected by individual Google sign-in and access controls. OAuth tokens are stored securely and are never shared.
- Retention. We keep a client's Google Ads data for as long as that client works with MarketHubb, so that historical reporting stays available, and for up to 12 months after the engagement ends. We delete it sooner if the client asks us to, or when the app's access is revoked and the data is no longer needed.
How we share Google user data
We share Google user data only in these situations:
- With the client whose account the data came from, in reports and recommendations.
- With service providers who process it on our behalf and only under our instructions: our hosting and infrastructure providers, and the AI model providers described above.
- When required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of MarketHubb, our clients, or others.
- In a business transfer, if MarketHubb is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify affected clients.
We never sell Google user data, never share it with advertisers or data brokers, and never transfer it to anyone for purposes other than those described here.
Your choices: revoking access and deleting data
- Clients can remove MarketHubb's access to their Google Ads account at any time from the “Access and security” settings in Google Ads. SEO AI loses access to the account as soon as that happens.
- Team members can disconnect SEO AI from their Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Deletion requests. Any client can ask us to delete the Google Ads data we hold about their account by emailing chris@markethubb.com. We will complete the deletion within 30 days and confirm when it is done.
Children
Our website and SEO AI are intended for businesses and are not directed at children under 13 (or the age of majority where you live). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of the page, and if the changes materially affect how we handle Google user data we will notify our clients directly. The current version is always available at markethubb.com/privacy-policy/.
